LIVING BLISSFULLY

Hello! How has your week been? ๐Ÿ’Ÿ๐Ÿ’ž

You gotta love those moments where you're scrolling through books on Kindle or posts on Facebook and suddenly something catches your eye. ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿง A curiosity starts to grow - you feel the synchronistic flow. โœจThe universe just knew your next level of growth or offered you a new excitement. Yep, it always pays to be bestie's with universal flow. The gifts are endless! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ

I felt this way when I was scrolling through meditation teachers on Insight Timer (a free meditation app) last week. I came across Sadhguru, an Indian yogi, mystic and author. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ I've seen some of his clips before and felt excited that there were many recordings where he shares his point of view on this app.

In one particular talk, a woman says to him, 'Please give me a simple explanation on how to be blissfully happy - what exactly do I need to do?' ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‹

His response was (I've paraphrased it): Take time for 'this' piece of life that 'you've' created - not just your partner or family. If you wake up in the morning, is it not a fantastic day? ๐Ÿ’– Smile - you're still alive - smile up at the ceiling when you wake. ๐Ÿ™‚ We live with an idea that we are immortal. However, if you are conscious of your mortality, you will do nothing other than what is absolutely needed for you and those around you. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

It's such a beautiful reminder to be present with the life that you have created: focusing on your heart's excitements, the aliveness of your life, the wonder of nature, the vividness of your imagination or more warm cuddles with loved one's.๐Ÿ’Ÿโ˜ฎโ˜ฏ

I know there are times where I can become lost in managing or the organising of my life in home and family (careers, meals, cleaning the home, schedules, homework or trying to find a Book Week costume for our son! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜).

A few rhythms I love, where I spend time in wonder or relish in the aliveness of my life is when I'm sitting around the fire pit on a Saturday night and gardening. There is always something magical and mystical about gazing up at the galaxy with lights dancing in the darkness. ๐ŸŒš๐ŸŒœโญ๐ŸŒŸ

Sunday mornings are spent with hands in the garden soil, sun on the skin, the whispering of birds, the bees magically pollinating flowers and enjoying the fruits/vegies from the loving labour. ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒฑ

I love these pockets of time spent in wonder - these spaces of rejuvenation for the soul. It seems to automatically detach you from your form/physical body into a feeling of oneness with nature and all that is. โœจ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒบ
